angle 4 and 2 are corresponding angles

Corresponding angles are equal, so x + 30 = 2x + 15

Subtract x and 15 from both sides

We get 15 = x

Plug in x to angle 4 (2x + 15)

2x = (2 x 15), or 30. 30 + 15 = 45. Angle 4 = 45
