Explanation:
we have
(11x^{2} -5) +(x+4)
we know that
The sum of a quadratic equation and a linear equation will be a quadratic equation
so
Combine like terms
(11x^{2})+(x)+(-5+4)
11x^{2}+x-1

11x2 + x - 1 because you add the squared variables, than the x to the power of 1 and then the constants
