The "(x - " part is very important because it doesn't change. If we have (x - 2), then it is understood to be (x - (2)) which is movement 2 units to the right (because positive numbers move right or up, while negative numbers move left or down). If we have (x + 2), then it is understood to be (x - (-2)) which is movement 2 units to the left. Because our parabola is shifted 2 units to the right, it reflects (x - 2) squared. It is shifted up 2 so the k value is a +2. The equation for this parabola could be B only.
