The probability it will rain on Saturday is 60%, and the probability of rain on Saturday is 25%. If the probability of rain on a given day is independent of the weather on any other day, what is the probability it will rain on both days, expressed as a percent?

Answer:

15%

Explanation:

The probability of both days is

P(Saturday_1 and Saturday_2) = 60/100 * 25/100 = 1500 / 10000 = 0.15

But you want it expressed as a %.

So 0.15 * 100 = 15%
