Number of flower boxes bought by Mrs. Cyan is 15

Solution:

Given that Mrs. Cyan paid 105$ for flower boxes

Each flower box cost 7.00$

To find: Number of flower boxes bought by Mrs. Cyan

Number of flower boxes bought by Mrs. Cyan can be found by dividing the total amount paid by price of 1 flower box

From given information,

Total amount paid = $ 105

Cost of 1 flower box = $ 7.00

Number of flower boxes bought by Mrs. Cyan:

\text{ Number of flower boxes bought } = \frac{ \text{ total amount paid }}{ \text{ cost of 1 flower box }}

Substituting the given values we get,

\text{ Number of flower boxes bought } = (105)/(7.00) = 15

Thus 15 flower boxes are bought by Mrs Cyan
