Tommy brought 87 bags because 870 pieces of candy and 10 bags so 870 divide 10 equals to 87 and 87 x 10 =870

Tommy bought 8 bags because if you solve it. You would have to divide 870 by 10 because it’s being separated equally. You would then get 8.7 but you can’t have .7 of a bag so the answer would be 8
