The heights of five randomly selected players on two different basketball teams are shown.



Team A: 75 inches, 64 inches, 78 inches, 65 inches, 68 inches


Team B: 76 inches, 68 inches, 70 inches, 74 inches, 67 inches

Explanation:

Team A : the mean height (average) is :

(75 + 64 + 78 + 65 + 68) / 5 = 350/5 = 70 inches

the range is highest number minus lowest number ...78 - 64 = 14

Team B : the mean height (average) is :

(76 + 68 + 70 + 74 + 67) / 5 = 355/5 = 71 inches

the range is : 76 - 67 = 9

A). nope....it mentions nothing of the weight

B) nope....mean height of team A is not greater

C) nope...because that 75 inch player on team A

D) THIS ONE....the range for team A is greater then the range for team B
