Henry Luce’s The American Century hailed the "century of the common man."
Option A
Explanation:
In February 1941, Publisher, editor and founder of Time and Life publications Henry Luce, in February 1940, announced to the Life followers that America was at war. Most of his readers undoubtedly saw such an audacious assertion as puzzling.
In May 1942, Deputy-President Henry Wallace presented "The Cost of Free World Triumph," later to Luce as being the "century of the common man," even though the distinctions were not so obvious at the time.
Luce disputed the argument, and said he merely claimed that the US accepted a burden that was compatible with its dominance in global affairs. The word "American Generation," after Luce's specific claims were ignored, eventually has become the opposite of a sticker which motivated or furious.
