Answer:

A scientific experiment is performed to test the predicted hypothesis based on which the scientific question can be answered.

The experiments are performed with standardised protocols which provides the data. The data should be collected in enough amount which could be done with repetition of the experiments and the taking large sample size.

Collecting the data of a large sample size is important as:

1. It helps to reduce the error while experimentation.

2. Helps to ensure that the experiment results are more effective.

3. To increase the efficiency and accuracy of the experiment.
