We have m = 1/5 and the point (-1, -5) → x₁ = -1, y₁ = -5

Substitute:


y-(-5)=(1)/(5)(x-(-1))\\\\y+5=(1)/(5)(x+1)

We given first point (-1, -5).

Calculate other point.

Put x = 4 to the equation of a line:


y+5=(1)/(5)(4+1)


y+5=(1)/(5)(5)


y+5=1 subtract 5 from both sides


y=-4

Therefore we have second point (4, -4).
