The Diary of Anne Frank
one part that stood out to me was when The ware house worker saw Mr. Van daan, who led to the secret annex, it stood out to me because the tension grew as the scene continued.

Given the fact that the audience will take away from the movie an impression of the historical events or figures portrayed in the story, (a) does the film improve the viewer’s understanding of the historical events? (b) Why or why not? Be specific--you need at least 2 sentences.
Yes, the film does improve the viewer’s understanding of the historical event's because, you can see exactly or most of what Anne went through versus reading the book your trying to picture what is happening here in the movie, you are to see how and what exactly was going on, and how much more pressure was applied on them. you also get a better feeling of how the story went, you could also see the damage to their city/country and how the war was overcoming it.
