The most famous agreement made on the Paris Peace Conference was the Treaty of Versailles (1919). What this Treaty supported that was also supported by Fourteen Points' speech (1918) by American president Woodrow Wilson (1856-1924) was the creation of the League of Nations.
The League of Nations was supposed to be an intergovernmental organization focused on keeping world peace. However, it wasn't able to avoid all the elements that led to the growth of nazi-fascist regimes in Europe and World War II. It was dissolved in 1946.
