Answer:

In the poem Il Penseroso, is possible to see the way Milton examines the path to becoming a thoughtful and contemplative person and also explores the benefits of having a life like that. The speaker of the poem examines philosophy, ideology, allegory, hymns and greek mithology in his search for wisdom. Milton uses words such as melancholy, silence, mute, night and lonely to create a quiet somber tone.
