Answer:

Total volume in the two glasses is 740 mL.

Explanation:

Given:

Ratio of the volume of soda in glass A to the volume of glass B = 8/3 : 7/2

Volume of soda in glass A = 320mL

To Find :

The total volume in the two glasses = ?

Solution:

Let the volume of soda in glass B be x

then

\text{ratio of soda in glass A} * \text{ the volume of soda in glass B} = \text{ratio of soda in glass B} * \text{ the volume of soda in glass A}

Substituting the values ,

(8)/(3) * x  = (7)/(2) * 320

(8)/(3) * x  = (2240)/(2)

(8)/(3) * x  = 1120

x  = 1120 * (3)/(8)

x  = (3360)/(8)

x = 420

Now total volume of soda in the two glasses

=> volume of soda in glass A + volume of soda in glass B

=> 320 + 420

=>740mL
