Can you recall a time when you listened to a speaker (or a teacher, a presenter, a pastor, or even a parent) and the speech

seemed to drone on and on as the speaker rambled and never quite seemed to get to the point? Describe how you felt and
what you got out of the speaker's message. What could the speaker have done to convey his/her message more
effectively?

Answer:

I have many times. When you hear a speaker that just goes on and on it's just like hearing a whole bunch of babies screaming. Especially when the speaker talks in a monotone voice it almost puts you to sleep. The point to his talk was something I couldn't even remember. It was that bad I couldt remeber one thing he said. If I could change somethings about his talk it would be to have more enthusiasm, speak clearly, look at his audience, and explain what he is talking about but also not ramble on about it. Keep it straight to the point.
