Given equation is:-


f(x)=-(2)/(3)x+1

To find
f(3) we need to substitute 3 in place of x in the above equation i.e.
f(x)=-(2)/(3) x+1

After substituting 3 in place of x we get,


f(3)=-(2)/(3)* (3)+1


f(3)=-2+1


f(3)=-1

Therefore for function
f(x)=-(2)/(3)x+1,\   f(3)=-1
