Explanation:

The volume (V) of a cylinder is calculated as

V = πr²h ( r is the radius and h the height )

Here diameter = 10, hence r = 10 ÷ 2 = 5 and h = 4, thus

V = π × 5² × 4

= 3.14 × 25 × 4 = 3.14 × 100 = 314 mm³
