Write a letter to king George III to try and persuade him to o grant the colonies independence. Use facts to back up argument. Give complaint and reasons for it. Give ideas for change. Tell what each change could do.

Dear George III,

I humbly write this piece to you to grant the colonies their independence. The colonies have not been ruling by themselves and that calls for independence. They cannot do anything on their own except except when they take order from George III like it happened last year and also this year. When they wanted to print their currency they could not do it as well. This puts them under real tribute. By that they looked enslaved and virtually lack control over their jurisdiction.

The ideas for change are:

Grant them independence

They should rule by themselves

They should appoint their rulers themselves.
