The percentage who were satisfied can be calculated thus :

  • (Difference/ Number surveyed ) × 100%

Difference = 3200 - 2240 = 960

Now we have :

(960 / 3200) × 100%

= 0.3 × 100%

= 30%

Hence, percentage who were satisfied is 30%
