What is a speakeasy? How was it different from saloons and bars before the 18th Amendment was passed? How would you enter into speakeasy?

A speakeasy is a "underground" location to purchase illegal alcohol. When the 18th Amendment illegalized alcohol. They differed from saloons and such because they were serving illegally and you had to know the right people to get in.
