Option C

9 loaves can be baked

Solution:

Given that recipe requires
(2)/(3) cup of oil for each loaf

You have 6 cups of oil.

To find: Number of loafes can be baked

Number of loafes can be baked can be found by dividing total cups of oil you have by cups of oil needed for 1 loaf

total cups of oil you have = 6 cups of oil

cups of oil needed for 1 loaf =
(2)/(3) cup of oil

\text{ Number of loafes can be baked } =\frac{\text { total cups of oil you have }}{\text { cups of oil needed for } 1 \text { loaf }}$

Substituting the values we get,

\text{ Number of loafes can be baked }=(6)/((2)/(3))\\\\\text{ Number of loafes can be baked }=6 * (3)/(2)=9

Thus 9 loafes can be baked
