I personally feel that bowling is not nearly as active as sports like cross-country skiing or jogging. I personally feel that jogging is a much more accessible form of workout, as cross-country skiing may not be available in certain areas and there is expensive gear associated with that sport. Out of all of these I personally feel that jogging would be the best, but I suggest you try all of them out and go with whichever one you think is best for you.
