Answer: Julius Caesar

Explanation: Vercingetorix was the Gual leader, the great warrior king. In 52 BC, Julius Caesar was on a mission to bring Gaul, modern day France, under Roman control.

Julius Caesar was one of the greatest generals and although he was outnumbered 4 to 1 at this siege because Vercingetorix called in reinforcements. Most generals would end up fleeing but he doesn't. He decides to stay and fight the Gauls who took over a hill in the town of Alesia. Julius Caesar is so bold and unpredictable here as he orders his troops to dig a trench around the Gual stronghold and they build another outer wall to protect them from the reinforcements. The gauls are no match for the Romans and ths just shows how genius Julius Caesar was.
