It is given that The chance, that a student will pass the statistic course is
(70)/(100)

Hence, The chance that a student will fail in the statistic course is
(100 - 30)/(100) = (30)/(100)

Any 2 students from the total of 5 students can be choosen in
^(5)C_2 = (5!)/(3! *2!) = 10 ways.

Hence, the probability will be
10* [(70)/(100)] ^(2) *[(30)/(100) ]^(3) = (49*27)/(10000) = (1323)/(10000)
