Find the midpoint of each (1,2 and(3,4)

Explanation:

Given that the endpoints are A( 1, 2) and B (3, 4)-

As we know that-

If a line segment AB is with endpoints (
x_(1), y_(1) ) and (
x_(2), y_(2) ) then the mid points C are-

C = (
( x_(1) + x_(2)  )/(2) ,
( y_(1) + y_(2) )/(2) )

Here,

A ( 1, 2 ) and B ( 3, 4 )

then the midpoints C are-

C = (
(1 + 3 )/(2) ,
(2 + 4)/(2)

C= ( 4/2 , 6/2 )

C = ( 2, 3 )

Hence the required midpoints are (2, 3).
