Give y = 7x - 89, what is the slope of a line that is parallel to the given line

Explanation:

In y=mx+b

(m) is slope

(b) is y intercept

Since the line is parallel it would have the same slope and in y=7x-89

7 is in the place of (m) so the slope is 7 therefore the slope of the parallel line would be 7 as well.
