In pea plants, seed color is inherited through a pattern of simple dominance. The YY genotype results in yellow-colored seeds. The yy genotype results in green-colored seeds. What would the Yy genotype result in?

Select one:

Green seeds

Yellow seeds

Seeds that are a mix of yellow and green

Answer: Yellow colored seeds

Explanation: The capital letter shows dominance, over recessive. Since the question it is asking has a capital in it, it has to go to the dominance.
recessive can only be shown if there is no dominance.
hope this helped!

Answer:

Yellow seeds

Step-by-step explanation:

the gene for yellow seeds(Y) is dominant over the gene for green seeds(y) so in a case of simple dominance the heterozygous individual should manifest the dominant trait, yellow in this case
