x=-4, 3.

Explanation:

x/(x+3)=4/(x+5)

cross product

4(x+3)=x(x+5)

4x+12=x^2+5x

x^2+5x-4x-12=0

x^2+x-12=0

factor out the trinomial,

(x+4)(x-3)=0

zero property,

x+4=0, x-3=0,

x=0-4=-4

x=0+3=3
