Answer:
When the first Arab Israel war happened there were Palestine Arabs who were driven away from the now Israel. These Palestine’s wanted to return back to their home and demanded to give back their land.
Israel felt that if done for millions of these people the Jews would be gone and it will defile the sovereignty of the Israelites. This was the reason of the war.
The Camp David Summit of 2000 was attempted by United States President Mr Bill Clinton to compromise the war between two countries – The Israel and Palestine.
Prime Minister Ehud Barak represented Israel and Palestine chairman Yasser represented Palestine. No written agreement was made and it was just a verbal commitment.
Israel promised to withdraw their forces from Palestine. Israel also allowed 1,00,000 Palestine’s to return back to Jerusalem on humanitarian ground.
