Answer:

(x + a)(x + 2)(x^(2) -2x + 4)

Explanation:

From the first two terms
x^(3) can be take as common.

Then in the second line
(x + a) gets common from the both terms.

Then it has just break according to the formula of
a^(3) + b^(3)

x^(4) + ax^(3) + 8x + 8a = (x + a)x^(3) + 8(x + a) = (x + a)(x^(3) + 8) = (x + a)(x^(3) + 2^(3) ) = (x + a)(x + 2)(x^(2) -2x + 4)
