In slope intercept form what is the equation of the line passing through (6,9) and perpendicular to the line joining (6,2) and (2,8)

To find the slope of (6,2) and (2,8), you do 2-8/6-2 which is -3/2

The line perpendicular to this is 2/3

Since the line passes through the point (6,9), you can find that the y intercept is (0,5)

So the slope intercept form of this equation is 2/3x +5
