Mr rahman gave 40% of the money he had to his wife. he also gave 20% of the remaining amount to each of his three sons. half of the amount now left was spent on miscellaneous items and the remaining amount of tk 12000 was deposited in bank. how much money did mr rahman have initially?

He initially had 60,000 amount

Explanation:

He gave 40% to Wife

and 20% to sons which is equal to 60%

100-60=40% left out is spent on miscellaneous items and saved in a bank equally. Half of 40% is 20% which is equal to tk 12,000

using cross product

20% 12,000

100% x

x= 12,000*100/20= 60,000
