X= # of girls
Y= # of boys
X+Y=25
2X=3Y

Y=(-X+25) put into Y
2X=3Y

2X=3(-X+25)
2X= -3X+75
+3X
5X=75
X= 15

Plug X into one of the original equations

2(15)=3Y
30=3Y
Y=10
