It takes a toy train 6 minutes to travel 2 times around a 25ft track. Assuming it moves at a constant speed, how long does it take the train to travel 100 yards?

Answer:

It takes the toy train 36 minutes to travel 100 yards.

Explanation:

100 yards = 300 feet

300 / (divided by) 25 = 6

meaning 300 = 25 x 6

So: 6 x 6 = 36 minutes

(sorry if this was confusing, I'm not the best at explanations lol)
