m∠m = 43°

Explanation:

If we know BD is parallel to AC, then ∠BAC must also be a right angle, like we know from ∠DBA. A right angle is 90°.

∠BAC = 90° and it is made of ∠m and ∠p

∠BAC = m + p

Since we know p is 47 we can find m.

∠BAC = m + p

90° = m + 47°

m = 43°

m∠m = 43°

This property is called complementary angles because they add to 90°.
