y = 2 * (x +2)² - 5

Explanation:

y = 2 * x² + 8x +3 v(h,k)

y = 2 (x-h)² + k = 2x² - 4xh + 2h² + k

8x = -4xh h = -2

2h² + k = 3

8 + k = 3 ∴ k = -5

Vertex form : y = 2 * (x +2)² - 5
