Since Joe is not getting the job done, we should kick him off the team. Each member of our team should think of him- or herself as a single part in a well-oiled machine. When all the parts of a machine function properly and fit together well, the machine will produce efficiently. The same kind of cohesion and productivity is essential to our team's success. But when a part breaks down or doesn't fit properly, we have to toss it aside and find another one to do the job.
