To determine if information from an article published on a .org site is credible, it would be most helpful to

check the date of the article’s publication.
click on the “About Us” link to learn more about the site.
email the site’s editor to ask if the article is true.
watch a movie about the same subject as the article.

The best answer is to "check the date of the article's publication".

Checking the article's date of publication will prove the the piece of literature was studied and researched within the allowable time frame. In some studies, literatures or researches or journals must have a date maximum of 10 years only. If the study or literature in the website is dated after 10 years, then the information is not reliable or accurate anymore. Why is this become a practice? Well, some information such as numbers and statistics in the study or website that has been published might have a huge difference and not realistic anymore.
