If eight members of the Caldwell family are helping paint a wall and they started with one side that was 86 feet long if they shared that wall equally, how much will each person get to paint?

Length of the wall = 56 feet.

We need to find length each person will get to paint the wall

To find length per person will paint can be calculated by dividing the length of wall with Number of members in family.

Now Framing in equation form we get;

length per person will paint =

Now Substituting the values we get;

length per person will paint =
(86)/(8) =10.75\ ft
