Write a number that is greater than 100, but smaller than 10,000

Divide that number by 10, 100 or 1,000
The quotient should be a number that is less than 100, but greater than 1

Answer:

it can be any number as long as as its greater that a hundred but smaller than 10,000. So I'd go with any of these numbers (2,000 3,000 4,000 5,000 6,000 7,000 8,000 9,000)

Explanation:

any thousand (as long as it is followed by 3 zeros) when divided by 1,000 equals its original number. by that I mean like this.

1,000 ÷ 1,000 = 1

2,000 ÷ 1,000 = 2

3,000 ÷ 1,000 = 3

4,000 ÷ 1,000 = 4

Please kid write this down in a notebook it will help you alot in your future. it also works with double digits. like 58,000 ÷ 1,000 = 58 But remember its only if the number is followed by 3 zeros

so if the number is something like 4,346 wont equal 4. even if its just 4,001 it wont work.
