It affected Americans emotionally because of how many people lost their lives, how many people had to deal with seeing those people die, hearing the noise and seeing it on the news. Many people died. It doesn’t even have to be your family member that died, you’ll still feel emotional. It affected everyone greatly

The tragic day of 9/11 affected Americans in several ways , however emotionally it took a great toll on the American people. The sense of safety and security was ripped away in the attack, as well as the great loss of first responders.
