for this problem you can do it a couple of ways. the way that i chose to do it was by moving everything to get y alone, but you can also find the x and y intercepts by plugging in 0 for the other variable (what i mean by this: x+5y=10; plug in 0 for x and your y intercept is 2). then you graph each equation and the solution to the system (if you also need that) would be (-4,3) since this is where the lines intersect.
