Answer: 48° and 132°

Explanation:

Given : Two angles are supplementary. The measure of one angle is 36° more than twice the measure of the other angle.

Let x° be one of the angles , then the next angle would be (2x+36)°.

When two angles are supplementary , then they are added up to 180 degrees.

⇒ x° +(2x+36)° =180°

⇒ x+2x+36=180

⇒ 3x=180-36 [Subtract 36 from both sides ]

⇒ 3x=144

x=48 [Divide both sides by 3]

⇒2x+36= 2(48)+36

2x+36=132

∴ The angles are 48° and 132°.
