Answer:

utilizes the neurotransmitter dopamine and is affected by drug addiction.

Step-by-step explanation:

Neurotransmitters are chemical messengers that sends signals in the body. From the word neurotransmitters, they are the chemical molecules that transmit signals between neurones. These include, acetylcholine, glutamate, dopamine, Noradrenaline etc. Our main focus here is DOPAMINE.

Dopamine are from monoamine groups and this neurotransmitter is triggered in many functions, such as motor control, "reward and reinforcement"(i.e the brain reward system is triggered by the secretion of dopamine), learning, concentration, and motivation. Dopamine plays a vital role in controlling the movement and emotional responses of humans. When the level of dopamine in the both is in right and adequate proportions, it is vital for both physical and mental wellbeing.

But when low level of dopamine occurs and symtoms arises, such as;

-depression

-schizophrenia

-psychosis

-Parkinson's disease e.t.c

It can be treated with the use of Supplements, exercise or administration of drugs depending of the symptoms. Supplements suh as vitamin D, magnesium, and omega-3 essential fatty acids helps to boost and may also help to increase dopamine levels.

With exercise, therapeutic massage, and meditation, the level of dopamine can also be increased.

But with drugs , Assuming a person is diagnosed with a mental health condition, such as Schizophrenia or Borderline Personality Disorder, a doctor may prescribe medications to help with the symptoms. These drugs may include anti-depressants and mood stabilizers.

Also, Ropinirole and Pramipexole can help boost dopamine levels and are often prescribed to treat Parkinson's disease.

If these drugs are being overly used, addiction may sets in and the brain reward system utilizes the neurotransmitter dopamine which is affected by drug addiction.
