There are two set of numbers

1)2.43,-16.43

2)-32.86,18.86

Explanation:

Let assume these number as x and y.

then x+y=-14

and x*y=-40


x=(40)/(y)


(40)/(y)+y=14
y^(2)+14y-40=0

y =2.43 and -32.86

corresponding x =-16.43 and 18.86

2.43,-16.43

-32.86,18.86 [approximated upto two decimal places]
