Answer:

Dimensions of rectangle are
length = 12.7cm and
width=3.5cm

Explanation:

Let w be the width of the rectangle.

Given:

The length of a rectangle is 5.7 cm more than 2 times the width.

So,
length = 5.7+2* w----(1)

Perimeter of the rectangle is 32.4 cm.

The perimeter of the rectangle
=2(length + width)

2(length + width)=perimeter

2((5.7+2* w)+ w)=32.4

5.7+3* w=(32.4)/(2)

3* w=16.2-5.7

3* w=10.5

w=(10.5)/(3)

w=3.5cm

width is 3.5 cm

Put the width value in equation 1.

length = 5.7+2* 3.5

length = 5.7+7

length = 12.7cm

length = 12.7 cm

Therefore, Dimensions of rectangle are
length = 12.7cm and
width=3.5cm
