What is the value of x in the equation

1/5x-2/3y= 30, when y = 15?

It’s hard to explain in text but, how I do it is 1/5 in decimals is 0.2, and 2/3 in decimals is 0.666666666666667 (long I know), sooo basically 0.2x-0.666666666666667(15)=30. Now that you have that all reduced or whatever you multiply “0.666666666666667” by 15, which equals 10. So now you have 0.2x-10=30, now the next step is to add 10 to 30, which would equal 40. Now you you have 0.2x=40, now you would divide 0.2x by 40, so 40 divided by 0.2 is 200. So your answer is x=200.
