Follow BEDMAS order. (Brackets, exponents, division/multiplication, addition/subtraction).

Solve inside the brackets of (8^1)^0 first

(8^1)^0 8^1 is 8. (Any number ^1 is itself).

= 8^0 Any number to the power of 0 is 1.

= 1

You can also follow the exponent rule where:
(x^(a))^(b) = x^(a*b)

(8^1)^0 = 8^(1*0) = 8^0 = 1
