10(km)/(h)=(6.21miles)/(h)

He covered 31.05 miles in five hours.

Why?

To convert from km/h to mph, we need to convert from km to miles, so:

1km=0.621miles

So, converting the speed, we have:

10(km)/(h)*(0.621mi)/(1km)=6.21(mi)/(h)=6.21mph

Now, calculating how many miles did he bike in 5 hours, we have:

distance=6.21mph*5h=31.05miles

Hence, we have that the cyclist covered a total of 31.05 miles in five hours.

Have a nice day!
