100 grams of Butane is combusted with 350grams of oxygen. Find mads of CO2 produced

Number of moles of BUTANE:

Number of moles = mass/ molar mass

Number of moles = 100 g / 58.12 g/mol

Number of moles = 1.72 mol

Number of moles of oxygen:

Number of moles = mass/ molar mass

Number of moles = 350 g / 32 g/mol

Number of moles = 11 mol

Now we compare the moles ammonia with hydrogen and nitrogen

O₂ : CO₂

13 : 8

11 : 8/13 ×11 = 6.8 mol

C₄H₁₀ : CO₂
